• Outstanding performances by both our 20 & 10 mixed boats

• 10 mixed earned SILVER but missed a GOLD in the championship race by 0.08 seconds

• And overcame a defective oar that failed 40m from the finish as the Warriors were in the lead in race 2.

• The 20 mixed continued to improve their 450m times all day, putting in a magnificent finish in race 3, where they eaned a BRONZE medal

• Simon told them, as they prepared for the race, "Don't leave anything in the tank.  I want you to be at "EMPTY" when you finish!!" and they did just that.

• The team also "tatted-up" with calf and arm tattoos from Chrissie.  Great fun.

• A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to Robin who kept the teams on schedule, marshaled, loaded & focused

• ANOTHER SHOUT-OUT to Simon & Coach for their stellar steering in what were certainly difficult conditions with wind gusts and choppy "seas"
